Tonight’s shave was with a new soap. I used coconut oil, palm oil, tallow, stearic acid, glycerin and lanolin with a 10% superfat. Scent is woody aromatic with a twist. I used 19 essential oils, 3 resins and 4 fragrance oils. Image

This morning's shave of firsts
First time with the Muhle R89, a nice mild shave Indeed, paired with an Astra blade. Had these forever and strangely never used them.

Funny thing I realized... I got all these products from Mo!

Thursday morning’s Grand Freeze:

Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/Wilkinson day 3
Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill SS
Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill ASB
Krampert’s Frostbite AS Splash
Chabrawichi 555 Cologne

A perfect setup for such a blistering hot day - even Stirling’s mentholated pre shave soap delivers a good cooling sensation as well as lots of slickness, and does it ever soften up my tough stubble. The Glacial Lemon Chill soap buried my face in such rich, slick, icy cold lather that has a beautiful fresh. tangy lemony scent. The matching balm worked its chilly, soothing magic, and the Krampert’s Frostbite aftershave felt heavenly. The Chabrawichi cologne is from Egypt and so bloody cheap, but it’s has a lovely lemony/lavender scent. This shave was a perfect three pass BBS work of art!

Be safe and healthy!Image
