Great story of how a local artisan can reach across the world!

That's awesome!

The idea is so simple. That's probably why it works. I am actually surprised that we don't have many machinists in South Africa taking this on.

IWe've tried to find them. Many people think we are all crazy. :oo Others promise big but deliver small. It's hard to find the right person for the job. :)

I guess it's a money thing... I've also spoken to Lion shaving as well to introduce a metal handle, but they didn't seem too keen. Their business model seems to be more about disposables. There's more return business.

Great Article there RVT!

I think finding someone to machine razors wouldn't be a huge problem. I think finding someone to spend time to design is another story. If we drew designs and sent to Machine shops, I think we could get some interesting results.

We need to 3D print some designs as well. For the geometry.

Hi c4Chucky, the Lion razors could pull a bit of a debate I think. I personally think they are decent value for money but are a little too aggressive for a beginner. The Blades on the other hand should never be used in my opinion. Everyone has different opinions though. Looking forward to your thoughts.
