My Friday SOTD:

Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/Gillette day 6
Gilly’s Lush Life SS
Prep ASB
Reef Point Fougere Santal AS Splash

I had to work a bit harder to get a BBS shave today because the blade lost a lot of its sharpness. The first pass told me the whole story - it wasn’t going to be so easy this morning, but I still got the job done!

Thanks RVT and Jaydee

I haven't used this one in a while. It's a very mild shaver even at 9.
I personally prefer its shorter brother, but as with everything "Shaving" YMMV.

Enjoy your weekends gents

Hello shavers! Shave of the day: Vintage Kikuboshi Fon Razor (Japan), Black Eagle Shaving brush, RVT Chapmunk Soap, LEA Aftershave #wetshaving #sotd

Superb shave! Wonderful lather, and super smooth edge on this blade.

Have a grat day, stay safe, and keep on shaving!

Saturday morning:

Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/Gillette day 7
Bundubeard Kudu’s Kick SS
Prep ASB
Max Refreshing AS Splash
Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme EdT

I can’t believe how I managed to get such a great shave with a blade that’s ready for the garbage can but I did it somehow. It took three passes and a lot of touching up. The Kudu soap felt damned cold, especially during the second and third passes and the lather was so thick and meringue-like with that beautiful coffee/peppermint scent and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Prep gave me its awesome moisturizing and soothing, while the Max Refreshing aftershave from Bulgaria went on icy-cold with hardly any sting. BBS as BBS could be!

Sunday’s fun:

Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/new Astra Green
Derbylux SC
Prep ASB
Reef Point Fougere Santal AS Splash
Givenchy Pour Homme EdT

It’s a pity that this Derbylux cream was discontinued because it’s so good. It’s from Hungary and made by Caola-Alfa, which is the company that produces the Barbon and Figaro creams and aftershaves. This one has a lovely sporty, aqua kind of scent, the lather explodes off the brush, and it has a mild, pleasant cooling sensation. The Prep has become one of my favorite balms, and this Fougere Santal aftershave from Reef Point was a gift from the wife a couple of years ago - does it ever smell beautiful and it has plenty of menthol in it. The new Astra Green made it so easy for me to get a perfect BBS shave!
