Thanks RVT
The Rex is a nice machine.
The pro's to it are that its available (albeit pricey) to buy and it uses standard blades.
BUT the Gibbs is smoother and that I believe is to do with the chrome plating - JMHO.

I enjoyed this morning’s shave a lot and I noticed that the 7AM blade is lasting quite well. Today was the 7th use and it cleaned me up BBS easily without any trouble. I had great lather from the De Vergulde Hand soap along with its lovely scent, the Tabiano gel is very soothing, it’s quite cooling, and the De Vergulde Hand aftershave stung a little but then it felt very comfortable.

Thanks so much Mo!

This De Vergulde Hand is such an awesome soap. The funny thing about it is quite a few Dutch guys don’t like it because they find it to be either drying or it has no cushion but I disagree with that.
