Fitness Log - May 2017

This morning's MTB ride at Crossways (http://3riverstrails.co.za). It included a pretty hectic climb, but with a very nice view from the top.

Lovely ride Jacquers.

I took my girlfriend for a ride at Northern Farms, approx 20km's. A great recovery day after yesterday's 21km trail run.

Lovely rides Jaquers and Thug.
@Thug. Do you also ride at Van Gaalen? I still want to take my bike out there for a ride.
I haven’t done any cardio for May yet but plan on a 6k for tonight. My fitness level is slightly improving and I managed to run my last few 5km run under 30 minutes. Saturday I ran it in 27:44 and Sunday in 28:16. My aim is to run it by the end of May sub 25.
Good luck with the training this month as winter will definitely play an influence on the will power. :D

Thanks Jacquers & Bles.

That's brilliant, well done Bles!

@Jacquers, was also my girlfriends 1st ever half marathon, so proud of her!!
@Bles, yes. Have ridden there often but not recently. We normally ride the Concrete Strips, Tannie Miems, Daggapad, Railway Line and then back along the River Trail. There is some superb technical riding at VG's.

Did the Kinetic Trail run tonight at Parkview Golf Club.
