Tip to keep tobacco moist.

Postby BLES » Tue Nov 08, 2016 8:42 am

Some of my tobacco had gone a bit dry after storing it for a while in glass containers. I normally add a clay leave which one have to soak in warm water in each container but I found a cheaper way which does the job superbly. I broke an unglazed terracotta tile into pieces and soak it in water before adding it to my remaining bottles with the dryer tobacco. After one week I could notice the tobacco to become slowly moisten again. :D :D

Well that's the first time I heard about this.

When I used to smoke tobacco, I was told to keep a slice of apple in the pouch. I think I only tried it once. It was a bit wierd to open the packet with odd apple pieces. :)
