Shave stand designs

Postby RiverValleyTrading » Wed Sep 30, 2015 9:39 am

Here's quite a nice stand design I found. There was a guy on the old cycling forum who was good at wood work. He would probably enjoy tackling this one.

It looks great. It doesn't seem too difficult to make one yourself

I agree, might be a decent DIY project.

It looks simple but there must be some catch to it. I'll try a mock up using some cheap chip board first. See how it goes.

Let's go for it. I'll see what off-cut wood I still have. There is only one condition....you don’t laugh at my contraption. :D

Not mine, but I made something similar. Probably time for an upgrade :)

I'll take a photo of my storage rack which I made out of an old wooden wine box.

Nice stand RVT, definitely a looker!

I have a couple pipe stands and a test tube rack for my razors. Works well enough and looks elegant. Also brought a nice display cabinet, to which I added a little latch lock. Works well to display the razors I have that came in their cases and also other shaving items. Nothing expensive, just 50 by 50 cms with a velvet under-cloth for protection.

Nice one Thug! I assume you had no choice but to drink out all the wine so you could use the box :D

Hey, Chaps

Thug's drinking habits aside...

Here's my Man Cave shaving station. Pine floor boards...Woodoc 10 + Oak Stain. Becoming crowded...

Cheers
