Shaving box

Old box getting a nee purpose and life.

This long weekend we are going away and i needed a proper shaving box. So I converted this box which my grandmother used to keep her Dutch bibles in into a shaving box. I will get a mirror for the top later this afternoon.

What do you guys think?

Dankie Jeff
I still have to do some work on it. Oil the inside, put a mirror in the inside, replace or put new screws in the hinges and out a closing clip on the inside. But for this weekend it will do with a sea view with some fish and crayfish on the braai.

Baie mooi Natie! Instead of oil try some wood polish (olive oil and beeswax mixture). It works great and doesn't leave an oily residue when handling the box.

Hi Bles

Thanks. I will try that. What ratio should the mix be?
