Aftershave for girls

Postby ShaveHavenSA » Fri Nov 06, 2015 10:03 am

Good day everyone

I have a colleague that asked me a question this morning, "what can she use as an aftershave for her legs"
I can easily recommend some shelf products but she's very much into natural home made products.
Here's a challenge: Who can recommend and easy aftershave balm for lady legs. Keep in mind that being legs shell use more than what we use so it must not be too expensive to make.
She says sometimes she feels a bit of razor burn and a slight rash occasionally.
PS: She's vegetarian (bad hunter) so animal products is a no no.

I dont think aftershave would be so good, as it will sting her.

A balm would be much better. For her, Nivea or Dove would work

She will prefer to make up something natural.

IMHO, if she wants something nice and natural, I can suggest the following:

Ingredients:

Distilled H2O (appx. 1oz)
Witch Hazel (appx. 1oz) – Make sure the alcohol content is low, like in this witch hazel
Vegetable Glycerin (1/4t) – Non-GMO sourced, organic glycerin like this
Jojoba Oil (1/8t) – This is my favorite organic jojoba oil
Essential Oils – Cedarwood Atlas (13 drops) & Bay West Indies (7 drops)
Vitamin E (2-3 drops; optional) – Non-GMO sourced vitamin E like this
Tools:

2oz Spray bottle – These are great looking little glass spray bottles
A small funnel (not totally necessary, but VERY helpful; plus, I use funnels like these all of the time for DIY stuff, straining kefir through a cheesecloth lined funnel, etc)
Make It:

Add vegetable glycerin, jojoba oil, EOs, & Vitamin E to your spray bottle
Fill bottle almost halfway with water
Fill almost to the top with witch hazel
Shake, shake, shake
Spray and enjoy (spray directly on the face or into the hand for application)

This might help:
For all ladies who want to try wet-shaving, I highly recommend checking out Tiffany Pisarcik's Blog (and youtube channel).
This is how my Grandfather shaved
This is how my Father shaved
This is how I shave.

Bee natural's after shave balm or lotion... the you can get it without essential oil fragrance so you can add it yourself... but even the men's are fairly gender neutral.
