Listings are live :)

Looks very nice indeed. Those should last a lifetime.

Was the coating done locally or overseas? I'm planning on playing with some DIY Nickel plating myself.

Many thanks Gents, greatly appreciated.

The razors were Cerakoted by a local company that specialises in all types of coating requirements from plastic, metal, wood etc. It was a tricky job to get the finish and colour just right - some of the razors had to be re-done a few times to get the finish just right. the end product is superb and each razor is unique in it's own way.

@deepsouth, the most dangerous of the lot, I would say the Sniper Grey Tech (Razor 4) The No5 is an odd ball and I can't remember the origin of this razor off hand - I will update the post if I do get more info / markings etc.

@Gaza365 - Thank-you sir, your order will be with you shortly

So, would you then also be able to offer a re-coating service for those of use who want to give our old razors a new look?

Not at this stage unfortunately Sir, the thought did cross my mind however. The Cerakote shop is local but I still require the use of a courier to send and receive as it's not close, another small issue is that I don't have a large array of colours at my disposal - specifying certain colour combinations and it gets ridiculously expensive. Then there is the time factor, which I know wouldn't be too much of an issue but can take in excess of 6 months.

I will definitely keep this in mind though moving forward and hopefully I can work out something for you guys soon

Regards

Good morning Dini, glad you are happy with your trooper

I also did a quick search on that razor and couldn't find any info, maybe my search skills have really deteriorated after leave

I am sure one of the other guys will chime in with some more info and also be sure to tell us how it shaves!

Aha, that razor is easy to identify - it's mine, or was supposed to be  Congrats dini, to me that appears to be a double edge razor :oo
The baseplate is what caught my fancy, the curled over combs are so damn good looking - the handle/topcap could be gillette new/old. Chris will be here shortly to identify this mystery

I wish I could but all I can see from the markings are 'British Made'. Jacquers had a similar razor before but it looks like the multitude of clones to the Old Type that came out in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

No idea. Might be somewhere in the Safety Razor Compendium. (Something I've been tempted to buy)

Like Chris said it looks similar to one I had, but mine didn't have any markings on it. This one actually looks better. Should be a nice shaver, let us know.
