Nice new stuff there. Some of the links don't seem to work. I've never used hair tonics? How do you use them?

RVT..i use Hair Tonic everyday...i use it after i have showered and washing my hair. Apply a certain amount in my hand, depending on the length of you hair and work it in and comb it to style. Just an extra nourishment for you hair after washing.

Work also great it you apply it and add gel or hairspray for styling.

Thanks Riaanb I currently used the Blue Brylcreem. Works quite well for me.

I have some fair knowledge about a lot of topics but this is something I have zero knowledge of.... styling, hairspray, gel, length of your hair, comb, hair tonic... it all sounds Greek to me. :think: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thank-you RVT and thank you for letting me know about the bad code in the links :thumbup: Links are all fixed Gents, apologies for that.

The scuttle is sold, snapped up quickly yesterday.

Regarding Hair Tonics, I found a nice little write up on Mantic59's page regarding the subject;

Hi DAVEP, I would imagine it would be a case of YMMV, some gents benefit from the use of tonics and some don't. It would also depend greatly on the hair / scalp type you have.

From the article;
Hair tonic is an “old school” hair styling product. It makes the hair look glossier (though some say greasier), something which many people viewed as a sign of healthy hair. The oils in the hair tonic also help hold the hair in place, making it easier to style, much like mousse or hair spray.

Thanks for that info I don't have much hair left so it probably would not be of benefit to me but i have passed it on to my two sons and they are quite keen but of course I would have to buy it as they are always claiming poverty.
