Hi Jaco,

I see you have a selection of Straights on your website Dovo, Eckard & Gold Dollar

Are the Eckard's locally made or imported?

If imported, from where?

Those Eckards are beautiful and imported from Cape Town I believe! Excellent gear on BB's site - I need to get more Feather blades.....

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments, I will try and keep up the service bit, I think I have bit of catch-up with RVT in that dept? Good to be starting out with healthy competition, always good for business. Those Eckard's are local indeed (CT) Two more in the making, one booked for a client already. I bought two from Jack Connan @ the knife show also, will list them in the next couple of weeks, they are going to be pretty expensive, but damn they are pretty. I am seriously conflicted about shaving with all these straights and giving my buyers 'new' razors..

I don't envy your choice there Jaco - I'd keep them all to myself ! Also, if you haven't tried Bundubeard soap - you should, it's good and not expensive considering the huge puck! Hairbars are great too !

I too have used the hair bars on deep south recommendation and was not at all disappointed.

Thanks guys, practical stuff makes sense to me. Sometimes people look at me funny when I try and persuade them to change their body wash/soap to a glycerine based one, they'd be like...hey dude, we are on 4x4's now. :oo Such a simple, cheap switch that makes a huge difference in how you feel every day, and more so in winter!
