According to the website they also stock Czech & Speake... their hard soaps are another on my most want list!! I think they may also stock DR Harris too? And Kent brushes!

Great find.

I don't think they have Kent shaving brushes, only hair brushes? Def no dh Harris.

Bought the CF lime and Trumpets GFT creams. They also have the soaps and colognes etc.

I dropped them an email and will report back..

Will be keen to hear your thoughts on the creams, very nice purchases. The CF Lime particularly has very good reviews.

Went and visited the shop today.

Some of the GFT hard soaps have as the 1st ingredient Sodium Palmate. Some had Potassium palmate but these ones didn't have the wooden bowl and only came in the puck.

I learnt my lesson with Crabtree & Evelyn and wont' be re-visiting the Sodium Palmate scenario..

The Castle Forbes stuff was on the top shelf and the woman wasn't keen on helping me out by getting it down.

Ha, cracking service then!!

I tried to email them about the Czech & Speake soaps but the email address on their website is invalid. You didn't happen to notice them did you?

The Digital barber (https://www.digitalbarber.co.za/shop/) has updated the security on their website (as they term, they got the green bar). So anyone who might've had doubts to purchase through the site, may now have some comfort in knowing the security has been upgraded. I've purchased from them even beforehand with no problems

Dragging up an old thread but I see there is a new shaving website with the owner based in Johannesburg.

http://www.razormansa.co.za/index.php?

Anyone had dealings with them?

No dealings yet, intrigued around the soap (which reminds me to use that african potato soap again from Bundubeard - it's actually quite good !)
The stand looks neat too, not that I need one.
Either Weishi/Rimei or Parker razors - not familiar with any of them (although that Parker adjustable will likely make itself home in my rotation)
Supermax green, have used them a long time ago, and have no comments on the past (bad technique and all that)

Guess, the question is why he hasn't introduced himself on the only shaving forum in South-Africa?
