Shave Snaps

Was watching some old "The Simpsons" series while on holiday when a scene of William "Willie" MacDougal shaves Principle Skinner popped up.

Took a snap of it;

Was thinking we could post our random shave scenes seen on TV here :D

Maybe not TV Series. However, two movies with Gillette Tech shaving scenes. One looks like a 1960s Aluminum Tech and the other a plastic World War Two Tech.

Haha, totally the wrong angle for a straight razor shave.

This scene is probably responsible for a lot of the current resurgence in wetshaving amongst the slightly younger crowd..

I found the writeup for this image:

The morning shave, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), North West Europe, 1944.

Photograph by Major W H J Sale, MC, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), World War Two, North West Europe, 1944.

A member of 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry has a shave during a pause in the armoured regiment's advance across Holland.

Looks like some kind British made single edge. Apparently, all of the soldiers were required to be clean shaven so the army issue gas mask would fit securely.
