So which one of you had the sleeveless shirt and Tats?

Let's just say I was the one who was saying we should we stock them, but he said it would crazy to tie up such a large amount of funds in just a handful razors. By my rough calculations, the selling price here of the Feather AS2 razor would be around R2600.00

I imported some aftermarket speaker spacers for my car in October/November last year, I have never received them and the tracking number is no longer on the system! It's taken close to 2 months to register the receipt of some razor blades onto their tracking system and still, they are only now at Customs.

The only way to import these days is to use a forwarding service like Stackry (http:www.stackry.com) but the costs become prohibitive for small items such as soaps. The advantage though of using Stackry is that they can combine parcels from various deliveries to you and then mail/courier one parcel.

Crabtree and Evelyn Sandton City is having a half price sale on some items .

I got an old formulation tube each of Sienna and Sandalwood ( only ones left ) for R150 each and a small bottle( 50ml) Morrocan Myrrh after shave for R100 .

Was keen on getting the West Indian Lime After have for summer but they only had the big bottles on sale . Still might go back and get it

Lovely! C&E old-formula soaps and cream perform very well for me. C&E Sienna is my favorite scent. Their Sandalwood also smells nice, quite unique with cinnamon and spicy hints. Enjoy

I pray that the first listed ingredient for your soap is potassium palmate, not sodium palmate...

A 50% discount proved too much of a temptation.

Eish, just read this..

So , if youre going to buy a C&E soap , check the ingredients first :

-If they have Sodium Palmate as first ingredient (but the Sandalwood) , stay away from it.

-If they contain Potassium Palmate as first ingredient , good shaving soap.

Hope this info could help you to avoid the new Sienna , which is rubbish , and the Limes.

How I'm going to remember this:

If the first letter of the first ingredient is an S, it sucks.

If the first letter of the first ingredient is a P, it's perfect.

Okidoki, off back to C & E

:o Sodium palmate

Oops oops oops...

Humm... personally I have not been able to generate good stable dense lathers from shaving soaps with sodium palmate as the primary ingredient (except for Pre de Provence No. 63). No matter how hard I tried with different water:soap ratios and different brushes, all I got were fast dissipating air-bubbly foams (the slickness was superb though). Maybe you'll have better luck than I do.

Or exchange it for the creams. Creams shouldn't have much lathering problems. But just to be safe, ask for a little sample to take home to try out first (or bring your own brush to test the creams in the store), before you make the exchange.
