Australian supermarket soaps

Postby Stubble » Sun Mar 27, 2016 8:37 am

I have just returned from a few days in Australia. As one always do I had a eye open for some local shaving suplies. I bought these soaps and creams in everyday retail stores for about 2,5 - 3,5 Dollars each. I will give feedback on the SOTD when I use them.

Nice, agree with your thinking that you needed more sticks :-)

Those Palmolive shave sticks get some nice reviews on international shave forums .

Do you get them in a version with a holder as well /

I only saw the sticks. I have tried the Palmolive cream and it gave a DFS. Smells like traditional bath soap. Easy on the skin and lather up easy. Will give the stick a go tomorrow.

Those sticks are non-tallow, unlike the ones from Europe. They have different ingredients.

They get some flak because of that.

Apparently the Australian Palmolive sticks are completely different than the European ones and not in a good way.
