The Graveyard!

Postby BLES » Wed Feb 03, 2016 2:04 pm

I saw this idea on another forum which might be a great addition to this forum ... when you use up a product; simply put a post in here about it and it might be worth a few comments about what your thought were about the product, If you’re planning to get more (or not, or you have some already lined up). With all my supply of soaps and creams it seems that actually finishing some of them would be a pretty rare occurrence.

No samples, no DE blades!

So far, I've finished ...
3 Tubs of PREP cream (This is part of my pre-shaving ritual since I started wet shaving and I simply must have it in my cupboard.)
A bottle of Nivea Sensitive ASB. – Not too expensive, odourless, (great for when using together with an AS or Cologne) and it is soothing on the skin with plenty of moisturising factors. I replaced it with Nivea Sensitive Cooling ASB)

Admin, please feel free to move this topic to another section if it doesn't fit in with the SOTD theme.

Interesting idea. I shave about twice weekly so its going to take me a while to use up some of my supplies. The two tubes of Proraso I have are nearing their end, but the soap pucks like RVT soap are going to last very long.

I have managed to use up a tube of Prep cream :)

Interesting idea. I shave three times a week so still going to take awhile. Only things I've used up are one Nivea Aftershave balm and a couple tucks of Super-Max New Improved blades. The Aftershave balm was cooling, moisturizing and effective.

Getting close on finishing my first bottle of Dove Post Shave balm so will comment on that when it's done.

I've been wet shaving for over a year now and have yet to finish anything (apart from blades)

Perhaps that's a sign that I have to much soap and aftershave.

On second thoughts, one can never have enough soap.

I thought I would share with you a very rare sight indeed. This is what the bottom of a soap tub looks like... (at least my brother cleaned it out before giving it back...) :oo

How nice of him

With a couple of soaps in rotation its going to take me a while to finish one, so I've decided to use the Wriggle Tin Vanilla until it's finished.

Does your brother eat the stuff? :OOO

I've yet to finish a single tub! Probably as a result of having far too much soap.

Beside that, my brother is one of the few people I know to have gone through an entire hundred pack of blades (Treet Platinum)
