Vintage Springreiter shaving stick

An oldie and a very goodie from Germany. I don’t know how long ago it came out but I think it was discontinued back in the 1980’s.

Ease of lathering: 10/10–Excellent lather very easily.

Longevity of lather: 10/10–Lasts so well for multi pass shaves.

General skincare: 8/10–Pretty good. Comfortable postshave feeling.

Scent: 7.5/10–Soapy and sort of medicinal but fairly nice.

Price: N/A—I received it as a gift from a German friend of mine.

Would I buy again: 8/10–Perhaps, if I thought I could get it again.

Mo, this soap is something like a hundred years old. But it’s really good. I’m close friends with a guy in Germany and he bought the last two on eBay, so he insisted on sending me one of them along with another German stick.
