Feather the heaviest at .58 grams, Wilkinson Sword Saloon the lightest 0.51 grams.

Interesting findings though. (the amount of wax on the blade does affect the readings though - suppose I should have cleaned them off first).

Anyway, I hop somebody find this useful. :D

Very interesting. I've noticed that the Astra SP blades seem to be very thin (verified by someone who measured thickness with a micrometer), so it should also weigh less than the other blades.

Interesting post RVT, I have also pondered what the weight differences between blades would be. Would be interesting to see if the Feather blades remain in the 'Heavy Weight' division :?:

Interesting experiment River.

That's a very high resolution scale! What are you weighing off to the 100th or a gram? Essential oils for a RVT aftershave? ;-)

BTW, I weigh off my coffee to a tenth of a gram in the morning for the espresso machine. The difference between 14g and 14.4g can be the difference between a 30 sec and 45 sec pull.

That's interesting JhbBlade. Bought this scale to get some accurate weights on small objects.. It maxes out at 500 g.

That's very interesting regarding the coffee.
