OneBlade Razor

OneBlade Razor

Followed a link on sharpologists news letter to this razor and then did a quick google .

Three hundred dollars .

I am realist and freely admit that my main reason for DE shaving ( to save money  ) has long since been invalid but this is ridiculous . Never admit this to the SO though . Never . Die with the lie .

And those blades seem to be proprietary and good for one shave . I would love to try this razor though and probably would if they had configured it to work with DE blades .

I think it's single edge blades (injector type) BUT they can keep it, you can get a real nice straight razor for that price - which is also a "one blade"

It looks very nice, but blade options are a bit limited.

As far as I'm aware, the Feather single edged blades that are used in the Mongoose can be used for the 1 blade as well.

It is expensive but it's a work of art !

It's actually a different feather blade that is made for a vintage razor (similar to a Gem blade). The mongoose uses the thinner style blade that fits in the Faether artist Club razors. (They are expensive!)

The OneBlade uses the Feather FHS-10 blade : https://bullgooseshaving.com/collection ... 240-blades

I might have guessed there were multiple different SE Feather blades.
